There was no smoke alarm
We served plates that celebrated a time and a place. Our ethos was guided by a set of house rules that tied us to where we live. Ingredients were gathered by us & found themselves being lovingly smoked, salted, preserved or simply placed. Other elements were supplied by farmers that respect the natural world & our place within it. The simple joys of a lit fire close by, the setting of the sun, sharing an experience & a meal. The time was yours, we place great value on that – we soaked up the scents, the flavours, the light. When given the choice we could all change the way we looked at everything life presents to us, these were our NEWeyes.
